Stunnig Attic Office Transformation

Via: simplykelly.com

I'm so excited to feature another blogger's room transformation. So lets get right to it. Kateyln James is photographer living in Richmond and I came across her blog a couple of weeks ago. The second I saw her home office makeover I fell in love with the space. Kateyln transformed an unmemorable spare room into the most stunning home office I've ever encountered. She was kind enough to let me feature it here.
Here is what the room looked like before:

And the stunning after:

The before from a different angle:

And the after:

There are so many pieces I love in this space. First, the beautiful modern settee paired with two accent chairs and a mirrored accent table created an inviting seating area.

And who would not want to work in this desk area? Its so crisp and clean. The chair really gives the perfect pop of color to compliment the white.

And what really gives the space a vintage shabby chic feel is Kateyln's selection of the simple yet elegant accessorises which complete the look beautifully.

I hope you are as in love the with the space as I am. I want to thank Katelyn for allowing me to share photos of her home (all of which she took-- Katelyn is also an extremely talented professional photographer). Please visit Katelyn's post to read more about how she was inspired to create the perfect home office.

And here's the lowdown on what helped transform the space:
  • Wall color is waterscape from Sherwin Williams.
  • Desk: Pottery Barn
  • Settee: Target
  • Entry Table: Pier One
  • Tall Dresser: Ikea
  • Teal Chair: Marshalls
  • Mirrored Table: Target.

Via: Bliss.com

the farm was originally founded in the 1600s and has been maintained in the best way...

babylonstoren has created an itinerary free environment; where visitors can stroll the gardens, pick vegetables for a salad, take about a zillion photos, eat amazing photo or simply lounge in luxurious, yet comfortable surroundings...sounds perfect.
