Master Attic

live in a 1920s bungalow, currently there are 2 bedrooms, 1 bath on the main floor. We have this space upstairs about 700 sq ft we would like help making into a master suite. we are in one rm and the kids (daughter 9yrs & son 18mo share a room. The space upstairs is used as a spare room/office. There is a bathroom directly below one of the dormer areas. Where do we start?
